I have an extensive background in opera, and am an experienced singing teacher. I focus on operatic technique, working on breathing, freeing up the voice, body awareness, eliminating tension, extending vocal range, and increasing power. xddd

I teach online. One-to-one Skype lessons are easy to set up, and are really effective. Best of all, you won’t have to leave the house. I have plenty of online material to aid the lessons; you will have access to this material when practising at home.

I teach adults of all ages, levels and aspirations. Whether your level is beginner or advanced; whether you want to become a professional singer, sing in a chorus, or whether it's just for fun, I will help you develop and improve your abilities. I trained as an opera singer at the Royal College of Music, and previously as a jazz singer, so I can teach a variety of styles.

In the course of 25 years' work experience in the opera world, I have worked with a wide range of artists, from the most amazing opera stars, to hugely talented young singers. If you want to pursue a career in this business, I am happy to give you my support and advice.

I am also an Italian coach in opera, and hold a permanent position in this subject at the Royal College of Music, currently global number one institution for performing arts in the prestigious QS World University Rankings. I have coached for the Royal Opera House, Opéra National de Paris, the Barbican Centre, Opéra de Lille, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera North, the Royal Academy of Music, Garsington Opera, Grange Park Opera, Holland Park Opera, the BBC Singers.
